A variety of cultural activities are integrated into the program, and additional optional activities will be offered throughout the month as well. Among others, these are some of the cultural activities offered in the summer program:

 

Visits of monuments and historic neighborhoods in Granada:

• Guided visit to the Alhambra (Moorish castle)

• Guided tour of the Albaicín (Arabic quarter) 

• Guided tour of the Realejo (Jewish quarter)

• Visit to Granada's cathedral and capilla real (royal chapel)

• Walking tour of Sacromonte (gypsy quarter)

• Visit to Carmen de los Mártires (18th century manor with manicured gardens and magnificent panoramas of the city)

Gastronomic activities:

• Olive oil tasting

• Guided tapas route

• Paella cooking demonstration

• Cooking class

• Winery tour 

 

Hikes and outdoors:

• Llano de la Perdiz (hike with panoramic views of Granada)

• Los Cahorros (natural waterfalls near the city)

• Tree planting in Granada's countryside

Music and arts:

• Flamenco show

• Flamenco dance lesson

• Tour of guitar workshop and demonstration

Other:

• Language partner exchange with local university students

• Volunteer opportunities

• Participate in Corpus Christi celebration and feria
