Throughout our month in Granada, we convene as a group every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:00am in our designated meeting room in the city center. These informal group check-ins will vary in topic from day to day and will be customized to suit the particular needs and interests of the group.

 

Key elements included in group meetups:

• Group discussions about Spanish culture and lifestyle to analyze and process what participants observe and experience in their homestay

• Presentations by coordinators and local guest speakers on topics such as Spain's history, art, gastronomy, dance and music traditions, etc.

• Practical language coaching aimed to help participants navigate specific scenarios and utilize colloquial expressions

• Pre-excursion briefings to prepare for and make the most of excursions and cultural activities

• Post-excursion follow up discussions reflecting on what was seen, heard, and experienced

• Introspective dialogue sharing and reflecting on all aspects of the immersion experience
