Granada offers a variety of beautiful landscapes, both by the Mediterranean sea on the Costa Tropical and in the mountains of Sierra Nevada. The highest mountains in the Iberian Peninsula are in Sierra Nevada’s national park, with the highest peak, Mulhacén, reaching over 11,000 feet above sea level, making it a world class destination for skiing and winter sports. Córdoba, another neighboring city and world-renowned travel destination, is also just two hours from Granada.
